About Mini Skyline

Mini Skyline is built by one independent developer and maker in Arizona.

It exists to turn meaningful places into 3D-printable terrain and city models without requiring CAD or GIS experience: choose a place, shape the model, preview it, and download a slicer-ready 3MF with its source information intact.

How the public beta works

The Earth map is OpenStreetMap-derived and displayed through OpenFreeMap/OpenMapTiles. City geometry is prepared from pinned Overture PMTiles, and Earth elevation normally uses Mapterhorn with Terrarium/Mapzen fallback. Planetary terrain uses body-specific NASA, USGS, JAXA, ESA, DLR, and PDS-related sources.

Generated in your browser

Browser Web Workers prepare the source bundles, build the preview mesh, and write the 3MF on your own device rather than in a hosted render queue.
