Map and city data
The Earth display map uses OpenFreeMap and OpenMapTiles data derived from OpenStreetMap. Public city geometry primarily uses pinned Overture PMTiles, and submitted place searches use Photon.
Elevation and planetary data
Earth elevation uses Mapterhorn with Terrarium/Mapzen fallback. Moon, Mars, Mercury, and Vesta terrain each use body-specific NASA, USGS, JAXA, ESA, DLR, and PDS-related sources with their own licence terms.
