About Estadio Nacional Julio Martínez Prádanos

Estadio Nacional Julio Martínez Prádanos is a football stadium in Santiago, Chile, in the Ñuñoa commune. The National Stadium Sports Park, which covers 62 hectares, includes the stadium along with a BMX circuit, a velodrome, tennis courts, an aquatics center, a gymnasium and a warm-up athletics track. The ground rests on former farmland that the landowner and philanthropist Jose Domingo Cañas donated in 1918. The stadium was inaugurated on December 3, 1938, after construction that began in February 1937. Its architecture was modeled on Berlin's Olympiastadion.

The 1962 FIFA World Cup used the stadium as one of its venues, and the final, in which Brazil defeated Czechoslovakia 3–1, took place there. Ahead of that tournament, in the early 1960s, the stadium was expanded: the velodrome that surrounded it gave way to galleries, which brought capacity up to around 95,000. Earlier, in 1948, it hosted the South American Championship of Champions, a competition that inspired the creation of both the UEFA Champions League and the Copa Libertadores. The Chile men's national team and Club Universidad de Chile are its occupants.

Julio Martínez, a Chilean sports commentator who died in January 2008, gave his name to the stadium when it was renamed on July 5, 2008. After the 1973 military coup, the Pinochet dictatorship used the stadium for mass imprisonment, torture and extrajudicial execution. During the junta regime, 12,000 to 20,000 people passed through the compound. In 2011, Chile designated a section of old wooden bleachers, Escotilla n.º 8, as a tribute to the prisoners held there.

Four slim floodlight masts
Slim masts stand around the rim of the bowl. Print friendly adapts these thin parts to the print scale; Full detail keeps them on a larger print, printed slowly with good cooling.
Stepped stands and a columned wall
The stands rise in many fine rows behind a wall of thin columns. Layers of 0.12–0.16 mm keep the rows crisp.
One piece with the ground
Estadio Nacional Julio Martínez Prádanos is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Estadio Nacional Julio Martínez Prádanos takes the building color.
File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
