51 m of Independence Hall, 14 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Open cupola and thin spire
The tower ends in an open cupola topped by a slim spire. Printing slowly and letting layers cool helps this thin part, and layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keep it crisp.
- Small windows and roof details
The walls have many small windows, and the roofline carries chimneys and a railing. A larger print size keeps more of this detail, and Print friendly adapts the smallest to the print scale.
- One piece with the ground
Independence Hall is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Independence Hall takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Independence Hall
Independence Hall stands in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at the heart of Independence National Historical Park; it is a historic civic building. Here the Founding Fathers debated and adopted the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. Originally named the Pennsylvania State House, it was finished in 1753 and served as the first capitol of the Province of Pennsylvania in the colonial era. It gained UNESCO World Heritage Site status in 1979.
Its architecture is American Georgian, a style defined by symmetry and classical proportions, with exposed brick and stone accents. A red brick façade fronts a central building with a belltower and steeple, joined to two smaller wings by arcaded hyphens. Edmund Woolley and Andrew Hamilton designed it, and Woolley built it between 1732 and 1753. Its highest point is the spire at the top of the steeple, 51.391 m (168 ft 7¼ in) above the ground.
From 1775 to 1781, during the Revolutionary War, the Second Continental Congress met in the building. The Continental Army was founded there on June 14, 1775. On July 4, 1776, the Declaration of Independence was adopted in the same building. In 1787, from May 25 to September 17, the Constitutional Convention met in the State House, where the U.S. Constitution was discussed and drafted.
