Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Steep roofs and gables

The long steep roof, the cross gable and the small cross at each peak make a sharp silhouette. Print friendly adapts the small crosses to the print scale; Full detail keeps them on a bigger print.

  2. Rows of tall Gothic windows

Narrow pointed windows line the side walls and front. A layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm keeps their outlines crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

Kirkpatrick Chapel is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Kirkpatrick Chapel takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Kirkpatrick Chapel

Kirkpatrick Chapel, formally the Sophia Astley Kirkpatrick Memorial Chapel, serves Rutgers University, standing on the main campus at New Brunswick in New Jersey. It is among the oldest surviving buildings of the university and one of six in the historic Queens Campus section of the College Avenue Campus. The chapel went up in 1872, at a time when Rutgers was still a small, private college of liberal arts, to a design by Henry Janeway Hardenbergh, who was at the start of his career.

The chapel is named for Sophia Astley Kirkpatrick. When she died in 1871, Rutgers was named residuary legatee of her estate, and a bequest of $61,054.57 funded the construction. According to Rutgers, it was a first for the state: an institution inheriting directly from an estate. Hardenbergh, a native of New Brunswick, designed three projects for the college, and the chapel was the third.

The chapel follows the High Victorian Gothic Revival style. Its features are common to German and English Gothic churches of the fourteenth century. The New Jersey Historic Trust says its stained glass uses opalescent, multicolored sheet glass among the earliest made in America, and four windows came from the studios of Louis Comfort Tiffany. Services and university events, including convocation and concerts, are held there.
