  1. Connected wings

The model is a low building of several connected wings with small rooftop details. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale; Full detail on a larger print keeps more of the wings and trim.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Morristown and Morris Township Library is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Morristown and Morris Township Library takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Morristown and Morris Township Library

The Morristown and Morris Township Library serves both Morristown and Morris Township, New Jersey, as a joint free public library. Its history reaches back to 1792, when residents swapped books informally: 97 members and 96 books. Residents formed the Morristown Library Association in 1812, and it was incorporated in 1866 under the name Morristown Library and Lyceum.

The library moved to South Street in 1875, when its shelves held at least 8,000 volumes for lending. Once the collection reached 30,000 volumes, a 1914 fire wiped out the lyceum along with much of what it held. Using insurance money and savings, the trustees bought land at Miller Road and South Street. A retired textile merchant, Grinnell Willis, covered the whole cost of a new fireproof building in 1916, in remembrance of his late wife. It opened on December 13, 1917, offering 8,000 volumes and employing four staff.

The library took on joint free public status in 1965. In 1987 the Dowling Wing was completed, giving the library a new entrance on South Street, plus a magazine room, the Treasure Room and the Children's Room. A 2006 enlargement produced the Croy Media Center. The only item to survive from the Morristown Armory, destroyed in a 1920 fire, is a big golden eagle displayed in the reference room.
