6 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Retain the fine lattice
The facade and roof edge carry a dense lattice of thin strands. Choose Print friendly for small prints, or use a larger print with Full detail to keep every modeled strand.
- Define the textured edges
A slicer layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm helps keep the lattice's vertical detail crisp along the sides of the low, square building.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Mucem takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Mucem
Mucem is a national ethnology museum in Marseille, France, dedicated to the cultures of Europe and the Mediterranean. It occupies reclaimed land by the harbor entrance in La Joliette, opposite Fort Saint-Jean. The museum formed part of the Euroméditerranée redevelopment, alongside Villa Méditerranée. President François Hollande inaugurated it in 2013 during Marseille's year as a European Capital of Culture. In 2015, Mucem received the Council of Europe Museum Prize. Its permanent collection explores historical and cultural exchanges across the Mediterranean region.
Architect Rudy Ricciotti designed the museum with fellow architect Roland Carta. The building takes the form of a cube wrapped in a concrete lattice reinforced with fibers. Exhibition spaces occupy two levels, while an auditorium below ground seats 400 people. The ground floor contains the permanent collection and a bookshop, and a restaurant occupies the rooftop terrace. A channel separates the museum from Fort Saint-Jean; an elevated pedestrian bridge measuring 130 m (430 ft) connects the two sites. The fort dates to the 17th century.
About this model
Mucem is one of more than 4,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
