Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Curving exoskeleton ribs

Thin curving ribs cross the tower walls. Print friendly adapts these thin parts to the print scale; Full detail keeps them, which suits a larger print.

  2. Tall, slim tower

The tower is very tall and slim. Layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keep the fine horizontal lines crisp, and printing slowly helps a tall, thin shape like this one.

  3. One piece with the ground

One Thousand Museum is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. One Thousand Museum takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About One Thousand Museum

The Scorpion Tower is another name for One Thousand Museum, a residential condominium high-rise in Miami, Florida. It is at 1000 Biscayne Boulevard, opposite Museum Park. Zaha Hadid Architects designed it, starting from an initial design by Zaha Hadid herself, in association with the local firm O'Donnell Dannwolf Partners Architects. Completed in 2019, it rises 62 stories to 215 m (707 ft), which places it among the tallest buildings in Miami. The tower was topped out in February 2018.

A notable feature is the curving exoskeleton, which lets the interior have fewer columns. It is made up of 5,000 glass fiber reinforced concrete pieces that were shipped from Dubai early in construction, and it sits in front of a glass facade. It was the first residential tower the Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid designed for the Western Hemisphere, and it was among her last projects. A swimming pool at the top sits beneath a faceted, curving metal ceiling that mirrors the water.

The foundation went deep. HJ Foundation, a member of the Keller Group, drilled to depths of more than 170 feet (52 m), and two of the auger-cast piles broke a depth record for Miami-Dade County. Wind loading, shaped by the design and height of the tower, is one reason the foundation needed to go exceptionally deep.
