About Orleans Arena

Orleans Arena is a multi-purpose arena with 9,500 seats, in Paradise, Nevada, within the Las Vegas Valley. The arena stands at the Orleans Hotel and Casino. Coast Casinos, which is a subsidiary of Boyd Gaming Corporation, operates it. It opened on May 25, 2003. UNLV Rebels basketball sometimes plays here when the Thomas & Mack Center is occupied. Among its notable events is a July 12, 2003 boxing card where Ricardo Mayorga kept his welterweight title by majority decision over Vernon Forrest.

Ice hockey's Las Vegas Wranglers called the arena home from 2003 to 2014. Their first game here came on October 10, 2003, when 2,817 fans watched a 4–2 exhibition win over the Bakersfield Condors. Arena football's Las Vegas Gladiators played here in 2007, and women's football team Las Vegas Sin was based at the arena as well. The Stanley Cup visited on November 25, 2005.

A college basketball tournament held before the regular season, the Las Vegas Invitational, began at the arena in November 2006 and was the first event of its type at a casino-linked venue that has a sports book. The West Coast Conference began holding its men's and women's basketball tournaments here in 2009, and the Western Athletic Conference followed in 2011. On November 26, 2011, UNLV's men's team upset top-ranked North Carolina in the arena. The World Men's Curling Championship was held here in 2018 and again in 2022.

How it prints

Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

Landmark height and scale at three print sizes

200 mm 8 mm 1:3,000

Small units on a flat roof
The broad flat roof carries small raised units. A larger print size keeps them; Print friendly adapts the smallest to the print scale, and Full detail keeps all of them.
Arched openings on one wall
A row of small arched openings runs along one side wall. Layers of 0.12–0.16 mm keep the arches crisp.
One piece with the ground
Orleans Arena is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Orleans Arena takes the building color.
File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About this model

Orleans Arena is one of more than 2,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.

Common questions

Is there an Orleans Arena STL I can download?

Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.

How big can I print it?

Any print size from 40 mm across. Orleans Arena grows with the print: about 6 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.

Is it free?

Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
