Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Railings and lantern room

The gallery railings, lantern room and small finial are the thinnest parts. Use Print friendly for a small print, or Full detail with a finer layer height at a larger size.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Stamford Harbor Ledge Light is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Stamford Harbor Ledge Light takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Stamford Harbor Ledge Light

Stamford Harbor Ledge Light is a lighthouse in Connecticut, standing on Chatham Rock off Stamford. It is a sparkplug lighthouse, built in 1882, with a tower of cast iron made in Boston. The light is 3,600 feet (1,100 m) away from the shore, and inside the structure there are seven levels.

From the upper balcony there are wide views toward the Stamford and Manhattan skylines, Long Island Sound and Stamford Harbor. A floating dock provides access. At various times, keepers and their families made their homes there. In 1955 the light passed to a private party, and the National Register of Historic Places lists it, an addition made in 1991.
