Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Protect the slender tower details

Slender columns below the pointed tower roofs and tiny finials are the model's delicate features. Use Print friendly at smaller sizes, and print slowly with cooling for the thin upper parts.

  2. Keep the wall details crisp

Repeated arches and narrow window details run along the walls. A larger print with Full detail and a slicer layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm helps retain their definition.

  3. One piece with the ground

Worms Cathedral is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Worms Cathedral takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Worms Cathedral

Worms Cathedral, also known as St Peter's Cathedral, is a Roman Catholic church in Worms, in southern Germany. It stands at the inner city's highest point. Until the bishopric ended in 1802, the church was the seat of Worms' Catholic Prince-Bishopric. Its prince-bishops lived in the neighboring Bischofshof palace. The former cathedral then became a parish church, and in 1925 Pope Pius XI granted it the title of minor basilica. Its architecture is Romanesque.

A rebuilding campaign during the 12th century largely produced the cathedral that survives. Bishop Burchard II began replacing his predecessor's church around 1130, and most of the building was complete by 1181. Later work included the elaborate southern entrance in the 14th century. Its architecture combines walls in the Romanesque tradition with pointed rib vaults, while windows, gates, and aisle arcades use semicircular arches. Upper tower stories added after the consecration incorporate Gothic details. This mixture makes the church an example of Late Romanesque architecture.
