7 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Curved shield and roof brim
A curved precast shield wraps the entrance side below a thick, overhanging roof brim. Print friendly adapts the thin brim lip; a larger print keeps the shadow gap under it clear.
- Shallow roof crown
The roof is a broad, nearly flat crown rather than a raised dome. Layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keep its shallow step and the panel joints on the drum crisp.
- One piece with the ground
Ball Arena is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Ball Arena takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Ball Arena
The arena stands in Denver, Colorado, in the United States, beside Speer Boulevard, one of the main roads through downtown. A light rail stop lies on the west side of the complex. It first opened in 1999 under the Pepsi Center name and hosts the Denver Nuggets, the Colorado Avalanche and the Colorado Mammoth.
It replaced McNichols Sports Arena, becoming home to the Avalanche and the Nuggets. Work on the 4.6-acre site began with a groundbreaking on November 20, 1997, and the building was ready in October 1999. PepsiCo held the naming rights from the opening until 2020; Ball Corporation bought them on October 22, 2020.
Major events include the 2001 NHL All-Star Game and the Stanley Cup Finals of 2001 and 2022, both won by the Avalanche. The arena also held the 2005 NBA All-Star Game; it staged three of the games in the 2023 NBA Finals, where the Nuggets took their first championship at home on June 12. Most of the 2008 Democratic National Convention took place there.
About this model
Ball Arena is one of more than 4,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
