4 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Cantilever roof and trusses
The roof is a flat cantilever carried on exposed steel trusses, with no columns at the front. Full detail and a bigger print keep the truss webs from merging.
- Stepped rows and open ends
Row-by-row treads run the length of the stand between aisle stairs, and the gable ends carry small exits with open braced frames. Try 0.12–0.16 mm layers for the steps.
- One piece with the ground
The Olympisch Stadion (Antwerp) is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Olympisch Stadion (Antwerp) takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Olympisch Stadion (Antwerp)
The Olympisch Stadion, or Kielstadion, is in Antwerp, Belgium, and was built to serve as the main venue of the 1920 Summer Olympics. During those Games it staged athletics, equestrian events, football, field hockey, gymnastics, weightlifting, tug of war, rugby union, the modern pentathlon and a korfball demonstration. The city of Antwerp owns the ground.
Football has been its use since the Olympics ended and the ground was converted; the club that plays there is K Beerschot VA, from Belgium, and no part of the Olympic athletics track is left. It is possible that Archibald Leitch had a hand in the design, since he made several visits ahead of the Games.
