3MF export
Generate a 3MF city model for 3D printing
Use Mini Skyline to choose a real place, build a printable city relief model, and download a 3MF model ready for your slicer.
- Build a printable 3MF model from map-selected city data.
- Use terrain relief and building settings to tune the model for your printer.
- Preview the mesh before export so failed selections are easier to catch.
City 3MF files from map data
Generate a 3MF from a selected city footprint instead of manually tracing streets, terrain, and buildings in CAD.

Common questions
Can I download an STL instead?
No. Mini Skyline exports 3MF only. 3MF keeps the named parts, material colors, attribution, and source provenance that an STL file cannot carry, and every current slicer imports it the same way it imports an STL. Converting the 3MF elsewhere works, but the part names, colors, and license bundle do not survive the trip.
What is included in a Mini Skyline 3MF city model?
Mini Skyline 3MF files contain printable mesh geometry, slicer-friendly part/color metadata, and embedded source attribution/provenance.
Can I adjust the city model before exporting 3MF?
Yes. You can tune physical size, terrain relief, building height behavior, feature widths, and export settings before download.
