109 m of 3300 North Central Avenue, 30 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Tall tower with a flat crown
This is a tall, narrow tower, so slow printing helps the top come out clean. A layer height of 0.12-0.16 mm keeps the crown crisp.
- Cut corners and window rows
The eight-sided plan has cut corners, and the walls carry rows of narrow windows. Print friendly adapts the finest rows to the print scale; Full detail keeps them on a larger print.
- One piece with the ground
3300 North Central Avenue is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. 3300 North Central Avenue takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About 3300 North Central Avenue
3300 North Central Avenue, also called 3300 Tower, is a high-rise on Central Avenue in Uptown Phoenix, Arizona. It has 27 floors and reaches 356 feet (109 m). Skidmore, Owings and Merrill designed it, and it was built in 1980, with Oxford Properties as developer and Poole Construction as contractor.
On completion it was Phoenix's fourth-tallest building and also the tallest one outside the downtown area. It was originally built for United Bank of Arizona's headquarters; Citibank and then Norwest later acquired that bank. Like its neighbor, the Great American Tower, it is turned 45 degrees from the street grid.
The plan is eight-sided: each of the four corners is trimmed with a 45-degree cut. Reflective glass covers the walls, apart from its corners, crown and lobby, where the concrete construction shows. The tower was designed as taste was moving away from the International Style toward Post Modernism, so it has elements of both.
