328 m of the AHS Tower, 89 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- A tall, narrow tower
The tower is tall and narrow for its footprint. Print slowly with good cooling, and use 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers to keep the vertical lines and the top crisp.
- One piece with the ground
The AHS Tower is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The AHS Tower takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the AHS Tower
A 328 m (1,076 ft) skyscraper called the AHS Tower, once the Al Yaqoub Tower, stands on Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. Construction reached its top in 2010 and the building was finished in 2013. It has 69 floors, and Daro Saifuddin Yaqoub once owned it privately.
The design took its cue from Elizabeth Tower in London, better known as Big Ben, and that likeness earned the building the nickname Big Ben of Dubai. It carries no clock face. A working clock was considered at first, then dropped: the authorities worried it would distract drivers below on the busy Sheikh Zayed Road. It also looks like the Gevora Hotel, which stands immediately to the north.
About this model
The AHS Tower is one of more than 4,400 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
