333 m of Rose Rayhaan by Rotana, 89 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Petals and spire
The crown and spire are the finest parts of the tower. Print friendly adapts thin ornamental forms to the print scale; Full detail keeps them for a large print or a fine nozzle.
- Layers for the glass lines
Vertical facade lines and the petal edges benefit from layers of 0.12–0.16 mm.
- One piece with the ground
Rose Rayhaan by Rotana is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Rose Rayhaan by Rotana takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Rose Rayhaan by Rotana
Rose Rayhaan by Rotana, or the Rose Tower, is a hotel of 72 stories and 333 m (1,093 ft) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on Sheikh Zayed Road. Its original design called for 380 m (1,250 ft), but a revision brought it down to 333 m. The hotel holds a pair of restaurants and a coffee shop open around the clock.
Work began in 2004 and finished in 2007. The spire was added on October 24, 2006, taking the building to its full height. That made it taller overall than the nearby Burj Al Arab, at 321 m (1,053 ft). Furnishings were complete in 2007, yet the hotel welcomed guests only on December 23, 2009.
Its facade mixes blue and silver mirrored glass in two tones with gold ornament. A slim strip of oculiform gold rings climbs the center of every elevation, and each side folds two convex cylinders into one another. Toward the top the sections flatten into a sculptural crown of intersecting petals, a nod to its informal name, The Rose. A sphere caps that floral form, and a spire forms the building's ultimate pinnacle.
