41 m of the Brophy College Chapel, 11 mm on your shelf
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Domed bell tower
The bell tower ends in a small dome and cross, the slimmest part of the model. Print friendly adapts it; printing slowly with cooling near the top helps the cross come out.
- Ornate parapet
Small scrolled ornaments line the roofline. A larger print with Full detail, at a layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm, keeps them crisp.
- One piece with the ground
The Brophy College Chapel is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Brophy College Chapel takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Brophy College Chapel
Brophy College Preparatory is a Jesuit high school; the chapel on its Phoenix, Arizona campus is Brophy College Chapel. The National Register of Historic Places listed it in 1993. It was built in 1928 together with the original school, a gift from Mrs. William Henry Brophy given to remember her late husband.
Built of brick with stucco facing and a clay tile roof, the chapel is Mission/Spanish Colonial Revival in style. It is a square building measuring 100 by 100 feet, with pilasters dividing it into vertical bays. Lescher & Mahoney, who designed several other National Register buildings in Phoenix, were the architects.
The bell tower rises 135 feet (41 m) and carries a dome and a cross. Along Central Avenue in Phoenix's mid-town, it is the campus focal point and appears as the school's logo. Inside, the altar is made of pink tufa from a quarry near Wickenburg, and Dublin artists of An Tur Gloine made the stained glass windows.
