Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Fine façade at print scale

The museum's façade carries shallow surface patterns meant to echo a mosque front. Print friendly adapts them to the print size; Full detail suits a larger print or a finer nozzle.

  2. A low, spread-out complex

The building is low and spread across its site, with courtyards around it. A larger print keeps the courtyard walls and roof edges clear; small prints soften them.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Coptic Museum is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Coptic Museum takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Coptic Museum

The Coptic Museum stands in Coptic Cairo, Egypt, and holds a collection of Coptic Christian artifacts larger than any other in the world. Marcus Simaika founded it in 1908 to house Coptic antiquities, on 8,000 square meters of land given by the Coptic Orthodox Church under Pope Cyril V. The building was inaugurated on March 14, 1910.

Its façade was designed to resemble Al-Aqmar Mosque, a 12th-century building. Inside, the museum traces Egyptian history from its earliest times to the present, and its collection links the Pharaonic and Islamic periods. Many of the objects show how Coptic art drew on pharaonic, Graeco-Roman and Islamic traditions. Coptic monuments also blend Ottoman, Axumite, Byzantine, Roman, Greek and Egyptian elements.

The Coptic community donated vestments, frescoes and icons in the early years. The museum became a state institution in 1931, and in 1939 Christian antiquities from the Egyptian Museum were moved into a New Wing completed in 1944. After renovations in the 1980s, two new annexes joined the original aisles; the collection is arranged in twelve chronological sections.
