About Giza
By both area and population, Giza ranks third among Egyptian cities, and it serves as the capital of Giza Governorate. It occupies the Nile's western bank, facing central Cairo, as part of the Greater Cairo metropolis, and it had 4,458,135 residents in 2023. Giza lies less than 30 kilometers (20 miles) north of Memphis, the capital of the unified Egyptian state in the reign of the pharaoh Narmer, roughly 3100 BC. Several Egyptian multinational companies and banks base their headquarters there, and the city is regarded as an important economic, scientific and tourism hub for Egypt and Africa.
The Giza Plateau is the site of ancient Egyptian royal tombs and sacred buildings, including the Great Sphinx, the Great Pyramid and several other large pyramids and temples. The area was the burial ground of several pharaohs, and three of their tombs took the form of giant pyramids that make up the Giza pyramid complex. In 1884 the Great Pyramid was put forward as a possible location for the Prime Meridian. The city has nine districts and five new towns, and the New Urban Communities Authority mostly administers the new towns. The Giza Zoo, established on March 1, 1891, was the first zoo built in Africa.

How tall do the Giza landmarks print?
On the default 160 mm print they stand between about 8 and 38 mm tall. Each landmark grows with the print size, and Make this print opens the generator with its area already selected. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.
