10 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Tall steeple and finial
The tall steeple ends in a thin finial, the slenderest part of the model. Print friendly adapts it to the print scale; for Full detail print larger, slowly, with good cooling.
- One piece with the ground
The First Reformed Church of New Brunswick is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The First Reformed Church of New Brunswick takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the First Reformed Church of New Brunswick
The First Reformed Church, historically called the Dutch Reformed Church, stands on Neilson Street in New Brunswick, New Jersey. A churchyard cemetery adjoins it, and the education building beside the sanctuary has its own address on Bayard Street. The Historic American Buildings Survey documented the church building in 1960, and its National Register of Historic Places listing came on September 27, 1988, recognizing its importance for architecture and religion.
The congregation dates from 1717, and its building went up in 1812, showing Georgian and Federal architecture; the steeple followed in 1835. In the years up to 1867, members of the congregation started three new churches, beginning with Spotswood in 1820. In 1971, fire was set to the church.
Several early leaders of Queen's College, today's Rutgers University, are buried in the churchyard cemetery. They include Jacob Rutsen Hardenbergh, its first president, and Ira Condict, its third. Theodore Frelinghuysen, its seventh president, was also a United States Senator from New Jersey.
