15 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Window grid on the tower
The tower walls carry a regular grid of small windows. Layers of 0.12–0.16 mm keep them crisp, and a larger print size makes them easier to read.
- Wide low base
A wide, low base spreads out beside the tower. Print friendly adapts its small rooftop details to the print scale, while Full detail keeps every modeled feature.
- One piece with the ground
The Fremont Hotel and Casino is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Fremont Hotel and Casino takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Fremont Hotel and Casino
The Fremont Hotel & Casino is at 200 Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada, within the Fremont Street Experience, which is named after the explorer and politician John C. Frémont. Architect Wayne McAllister designed it. It debuted on May 18, 1956, and was then the tallest building anywhere in Nevada. At that point it had 155 rooms, its opening cost $6 million, and Ed Levinson and Lou Lurie owned it.
In 1963 the Ogden tower, 14 stories tall, joined the hotel together with a parking garage that was among the earliest vertical ones in the city. Allen Glick's Argent Corporation bought the Fremont in 1974, and in 1976 the casino was expanded for $4 million. Sam Boyd acquired it in 1983 as an addition to his Boyd Gaming group.
The casino sits at a spot commonly called the four corners, where four main hotels meet at Casino Center Boulevard and Fremont Street. Its neighbors there are Binion's Gambling Hall and Hotel, the Golden Nugget and the Four Queens. Casino Center Boulevard is the sole through street running beneath the Fremont Street Experience's canopy. Wayne Newton began his Las Vegas career at the Fremont's Carnival Lounge in 1959, and scenes of the movie Swingers were filmed inside.
