Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Protect the slender vertical sign

The sign rises above the roofline with small projecting lettering. Print friendly adapts these thin details to your print scale; print slowly with cooling for the narrow upper section.

  2. Keep the window details visible

Rows of small windows and trim define the low facade. A larger print with Full detail keeps these features; a slicer layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm helps the trim stay crisp.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Golden Gate Hotel and Casino is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Golden Gate Hotel and Casino takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Golden Gate Hotel and Casino

The Golden Gate Hotel and Casino occupies One Fremont Street, at the southeast corner where Fremont meets Main Street, in Las Vegas, Nevada. John F. Miller bought the property in 1905 and began with a temporary hotel in tents. His permanent Hotel Nevada was documented as open on January 13, 1906. The original building had two stories and was the first hotel structure built in Las Vegas; at its opening, it was also southern Nevada's only concrete hotel. In 1907, the city's first telephone was installed there, assigned the number 1.

The hotel's early casino stopped operating when Nevada banned gambling in 1909. The hotel later took the name Sal Sagev, which reverses the letters of Las Vegas. A separate business opened a casino on its ground floor in 1955, choosing Golden Gate as its name after the Golden Gate Bridge. After the casino purchased the hotel, the combined property adopted its full Golden Gate name in 1974. A renovation begun in 2012 added a hotel tower with five stories, new suites and penthouses, and more casino space.
