Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Detail around the arena walls

An arena is one large volume, and its glazing and the corner feature are what a small print loses first. Print larger, or use Full detail, so those places do not close up into plain wall.

  2. One piece with the ground

Kia Center is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Kia Center takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Kia Center

Kia Center is a multipurpose indoor arena in downtown Orlando, Florida. It occupies the corner of Hughey Avenue and Church Street; the Orlando Magic of the NBA and the Orlando Solar Bears, who play in the ECHL, both use it as their home. The building was known as Amway Center until it took the Kia name on December 20, 2023. The City of Orlando owns it and Populous was the architect of record.

The arena was part of a plan to redo the Orlando Centroplex, and building it cost about $380 million, with land and infrastructure lifting the total to $480 million. The Magic put up $50 million or more in cash, carried any cost overruns and paid rent of $1 million a year for 30 years, while the city paid for land and infrastructure, with bonds repaid in part out of the tourist development tax that Orange County levies on hotel stays.

The design had to settle a site between elevated highways, low-rise housing and the central business district: precast and aluminum walls are broken by wide areas of glass, among them a crystalline lobby that faces Church Street, and a lit feature tower anchors one corner, holding the team store, hospitality space and a rooftop bar. Inside, the centerhung display that Daktronics built is taller than in any other NBA venue, and there are about 2,100 feet of digital ribbon boards, including a 1,100-foot (340 m) ring running a full 360 degrees around the seating bowl.
