Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. A plain 10-story building

Its walls are unadorned, so the print is mostly flat faces. A layer height of 0.12–0.16 mm keeps the edges and any window lines crisp.

  2. One piece with the ground

The Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  3. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  4. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum takes the building color.

  5. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum

Known as the LBJ Presidential Library, this is the presidential library and museum for Lyndon Baines Johnson, who served as the 36th US president. It sits on the University of Texas at Austin campus, though the federal government runs it and it is independent of the university. Of the 15 presidential libraries that the National Archives and Records Administration administers, it is one.

Gordon Bunshaft and R. Max Brooks of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill designed the complex. It was dedicated on May 22, 1971, and Johnson and Richard Nixon, then president, were present. The plain, undecorated 10-story building has cream Italian travertine cladding. Its campus covers 14 acres (57,000 m2) next to the LBJ School of Public Affairs. Public funds from the University of Texas covered $15 million of the $18 million cost, and the university donated the land.

The top floor holds a replica of the Oval Office at 7/8ths scale, decorated to match Johnson's years in office. Its holdings include 45 million documents, about 650,000 photographs, 12,000 audio recordings and 7,500 video recordings on his presidency. Among the artworks is a photoengraved mural of scenes from Johnson's life by Naomi Savage.
