Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Many shallow window recesses

Tall rows of narrow window recesses run down the faces of the wings and tower. Layers of 0.12–0.16 mm keep their edges crisp; Print friendly adapts the smallest ones on a small print.

  2. Small corner and roof details

Little roof pieces and corner details sit around the main block. A larger print or Full detail keeps them from being lost.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Maricopa County Administration Building is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Maricopa County Administration Building takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Maricopa County Administration Building

In downtown Phoenix, Arizona, the County-City Administration Building (the Maricopa County Courthouse together with Old Phoenix City Hall) joins two buildings in a conjoined layout that share one architecture. County and city governments built it together, on a monumental scale, filling a full city block.

Edward Neild of Shreveport designed the courthouse together with the Phoenix firm Lescher & Mahoney, and it is his only known work in Arizona. Neild was in charge of the general exterior appearance, while Lescher & Mahoney contributed extra exterior elements at the City Hall end and largely controlled its interiors. The plan is H-shaped, overall 70 m by 40 m (230 by 130 feet), with a six-story central tower marked by seven pronounced vertical bays.

Edwards, Wildey and Dixon, a Los Angeles firm, were the general contractors. At a dedication ceremony a cornerstone of Arizona granite was laid, with a time capsule mortared inside. City and county formally took possession on June 23, 1929, after a total construction cost of $1,200,000, and a jail occupied the fifth and sixth floors. A Maricopa County Justice Museum opened in 2012 within a cell block on the sixth floor.
