About MHPArena
MHPArena, formerly Neckarstadion, is a stadium in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, and the home of Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart. It sits in the Bad Cannstatt borough, as the centerpiece of the Neckarpark area. From 1949 until 1993 it was called Neckarstadion, after the nearby river Neckar. After a stretch as the Gottlieb-Daimler-Stadion and the Mercedes-Benz Arena, it was renamed MHPArena on July 1, 2023.
Football matches at the 1974 and 2006 FIFA World Cups, UEFA Euro 1988 and UEFA Euro 2024 were played there, along with European Cup finals in 1959 and 1988. No other venue in Europe has staged multiple matches from the World Cup, the European Championship and the European Cup/Champions League Final. It also staged athletics events, with European Championships in 1986 and World Championships in 1993.
Paul Bonatz and Friedrich Scholer designed the original stadium, built from 1929 to 1933. A fabric roof by Schlaich Bergermann Partner hangs from a steel frame around the stadium that weighs about 2,700 metric tons; it was added in 1993 and replaced in 2017. From 2009 the running track was demolished, the pitch was lowered by 1.30 m and both curves were rebuilt closer to the pitch, with the work finished by the end of 2011.
How it prints
Make this print opens the generator on a 700 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
| Print size | Landmark height | Scale |
|---|---|---|
| 160 mm default | 11 mm | 1:4,375 |
| 200 mm | 14 mm | 1:3,500 |
| 256 mm | 18 mm | 1:2,734 |

- Radiating roof ribs
- Many thin ribs fan out across the roof around the oval bowl. A bigger print keeps more of them, and layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keep their edges crisp.
- A slim frame on the rim
- A thin ring frame stands on slender posts above the outer wall. Print friendly adapts thin parts to the print scale; Full detail keeps them as modeled, which suits a larger print.
- One piece with the ground
- MHPArena is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. MHPArena takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About this model
MHPArena is one of more than 2,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
Common questions
Is there a MHPArena STL I can download?
Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.
How big can I print it?
Any print size from 40 mm across. MHPArena grows with the print: about 11 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.
Is it free?
Yes. Generation runs in your browser, with no account and nothing behind a paywall.
