Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Smooth oval roof

The oval roof and its curved walls are smooth surfaces. A layer height of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keeps the curves clean and cuts visible layer steps.

  2. Angled canopies and roof boxes

Pointed canopy corners and small boxes on the lower roof are fine details. Print friendly adapts thin tips to the print scale, while a larger print size or Full detail keeps them.

  3. One piece with the ground

Place Bell is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Place Bell takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Place Bell

Place Bell, in Laval, Quebec, Canada, is an arena built for many uses. The complex has a main arena with 10,172 seats. Two community rinks, both smaller, complete it, and one has Olympic-size ice. The Laval Rocket, an American Hockey League (AHL) team, plays its home games in the main arena. Evenko, which also operates the Bell Centre in Montreal, manages the facility, and Bell Canada acquired the naming rights.

Gilles Vaillancourt, who was mayor of Laval at the time, revealed the project in February 2012. The first plans placed the arena in the Quartier de l'Agora district beside the Laval courthouse, but unstable soil there forced a relocation. In October 2012, the city said the arena would stand beside Montmorency station on the Montreal Metro's Orange Line. Building began in late 2014, and the arena was finished in 2017.

The estimated cost rose after the announcement. It was first given as $92.6 million, revised to $150 million less than a year later, and put at $200 million in March 2014 by Laval's mayor at that time, Marc Demers. The Laval Rocket hosted their first game there on October 6, 2017, beating the Belleville Senators 3–0. Les Canadiennes de Montréal played there in 2018–19, their last season in the CWHL, the Canadian Women's Hockey League.
