12 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Fine details at small sizes
Museum buildings carry small details on their facades and rooflines. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale; Full detail keeps every modeled feature and suits larger prints.
- One piece with the ground
The Royal British Columbia Museum is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Royal British Columbia Museum takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About the Royal British Columbia Museum
The Royal British Columbia Museum, also called the Royal BC Museum, is a museum of history located in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Its site is next to Victoria's Inner Harbour, with the Empress Hotel on one side and the Legislature Buildings on the other. The provincial government founded it in 1886 as the British Columbia Provincial Museum, and it opened on October 25, 1886 in the Birdcages, former legislative buildings in BC. Prince Philip bestowed the Royal title in 1987.
BC Premier W. A. C. Bennett pledged a new home for the museum as part of the 1967 celebrations for Canada's centenary. The new building opened on August 16, 1968, and its final construction budget was $9.5 million. Around it, the Royal BC Museum Cultural Precinct gathers historical sites and monuments, among them Thunderbird Park.
The permanent galleries are Becoming BC, First Peoples and Natural History. Becoming BC includes Old Town, a full-scale model of Victoria between the 1870s and 1920s, while the natural history gallery has the popular woolly mammoth. Its collections hold approximately 7 million objects, and the museum also houses the IMAX Victoria theater.
About this model
The Royal British Columbia Museum is one of more than 5,500 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Each model is written as code from public descriptions, plans, photographs and aerial views used only as references; no image or third-party model is copied into it. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. Rights in the building itself, its name and any brands on it are not granted by Mini Skyline; clear them separately before you sell prints. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
