About Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre
Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre is an indoor arena in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, and the largest arena in the province outside of Vancouver. Ice hockey is its main use, and its tenants have included the ECHL's Victoria Salmon Kings and the Western Hockey League's Victoria Royals. RG Properties Ltd., a company based in Vancouver that works in development and entertainment, developed the arena. Other events include trade shows, conferences, plays, curling and figure skating, and concerts. The building has a fine dining restaurant, 26 luxury suites, retail space and meeting space.
The arena was completed in 2005, and its seating capacity reaches a maximum of 7,400. It took the place of the aging Memorial Arena, nicknamed the "Barn on Blanshard", built in 1949 as a rectangular building with a curved roof that resembled a barn or aircraft hangar, and it occupies the site of that arena. The first event was a Rod Stewart concert. Stewart and his band came out wearing hardhats and orange safety vests, joking about the arena not being fully finished.
How it prints
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

- Smooth oval roof
- A broad, gently domed roof covers the whole oval. Layers of 0.12–0.16 mm keep its slow curve smooth.
- Slim fins at the entrance
- Thin vertical fins stand along the glass entrance. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale; Full detail keeps them on a larger print.
- One piece with the ground
- Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
