Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Curved shell and rooflights

The model is a continuous curved shell with two rows of six flat rooflights on its shoulders. Print friendly adapts the shallow frames; 0.12–0.16 mm layers keep the rooflight edges crisp on a larger print.

  2. Open entrance and lettering

A broad rectangular entrance opens below six relief letters on the front wall, revealing internal arch frames. Full detail keeps the letters and frames; Print friendly simplifies them at small scales.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Schwenningen International Aviation Museum hangar is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Schwenningen International Aviation Museum hangar takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Schwenningen International Aviation Museum hangar

The International Aviation Museum opened on May 28, 1988. It is a privately operated museum that has presented an aviation-history collection of more than 60 aircraft since 1988, directly at Schwenningen Ost airfield in Villingen-Schwenningen, Germany. Manfred Pflumm built the museum hall, residence, workshop and outdoor facilities largely through his own efforts.

The hall's roof was damaged in a hail event in Villingen-Schwenningen on June 28, 2006. Hailstones penetrated the hall roof, and even aircraft standing in the protective hangar suffered damage. The museum building stands on Spittelbronner Weg in Villingen-Schwenningen, directly at the airfield.
