Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Keep the dome pattern crisp

The dome carries fine surface patterns above a band of small window details. A larger print and 0.12–0.16 mm slicer layers help preserve these features.

  2. Protect the small dome tip

A slender finial rises from the dome. Choose Print friendly to adapt this small part to the print scale, and print slowly with cooling near the tip.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque

Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque is a Shi'ite place of worship in Isfahan, Iran, along the east side of Naqsh-e Jahan Square. Chief architect Muhammad Reza designed it during Shah Abbas the Great's reign. Construction began in 1602/1603 CE and ended in 1618/1619 CE. It was intended as a private mosque for the royal court, and has no minarets. A tunnel linked it with Ali Qapu Palace across the square. The entrance passage led people along a winding route before they reached the main building.

A single chamber beneath the dome measures 19 meters (62 ft) on each side. An L-shaped vestibule connects the entrance to the interior, resolving the difference between the square's orientation and the direction of prayer. The entrance and dome consequently sit on different axes. Marble forms the lower facade and gateway, while multicolored tiles decorate the upper portions. The mosque belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage Site that includes the square and neighboring structures. It also joined Iran's National Heritage List on January 6, 1932.
