Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Pinnacles and heraldic beasts

The roofline bristles with pinnacles, and the small figures on them are the finest detail in the model. Print friendly adapts them to the print scale; Full detail and 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers keep them from blurring.

  2. Chapel walls and roof edges

The chapel is set among the castle's other structures, so its own roof edge is easy to lose. A larger print and 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers keep that edge and the wall tops distinct.

  3. One piece with the ground

St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle

St George's Chapel is a chapel inside Windsor Castle, England, built in late-medieval Perpendicular Gothic style. A royal peculiar, it falls under the monarch's direct jurisdiction and serves as the Order of the Garter's chapel. King Edward III founded it in the 14th century, and it was greatly enlarged in the late 15th century, standing in the castle's Lower Ward.

Many royal services, weddings and burials have taken place in the chapel. In the 19th century it superseded Westminster Abbey, together with nearby Frogmore Gardens, as the burial place chosen by the British royal family. Charles I was buried in 1649 in a small vault at the center of the choir, which also held Henry VIII and Jane Seymour in their coffins. Responsibility for running the chapel belongs to Windsor's dean and canons, who form the College of Saint George.

Parliamentary forces broke in and looted the chapel and its treasury on October 23, 1642. In 1643 the chapter house, built in the 15th century, was destroyed; lead was stripped from the roofs and parts of the unfinished funeral monument of Henry VIII were taken. George III inspired and largely paid for an extensive restoration from 1780 to 1790, and Sir Harold Brakspear oversaw a ten-year restoration that began in 1920. Seventy-six heraldic statues of the Royal Beasts stand on the roof and side pinnacles, in a set dating from 1925.
