5 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Small cross on the cupola
A thin cross rises from the small domed cupola. Print slowly with 0.12–0.16 mm layers; Print friendly keeps the cross sturdy, and a larger print or Full detail keeps its shape.
- One piece with the ground
St. Stephen Cathedral is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. St. Stephen Cathedral takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About St. Stephen Cathedral
St. Stephen Cathedral in Phoenix, Arizona, is a Ruthenian Greek Catholic church and the cathedral of the Phoenix-based Byzantine Catholic eparchy. As early as 1956, Byzantine Catholics who had moved west from the eastern states began planning a church of their own in the city. A decade later they formally petitioned Bishop Nicholas Elko of Pittsburgh for a parish, and in 1968 permission came to acquire the former Antiochene Orthodox church of St. Thomas the Apostle and its land.
Its first Divine Liturgy took place on Easter Sunday. Bishop Stephen Kocisko dedicated the church on June 28, 1968, with St. Stephen the Proto-Martyr as its patron. A rectory and a parish hall came in 1974, and in 1991 a columbarium. After the Northridge earthquake of 1994 damaged the Van Nuys eparchy's offices, Bishop George Kuzma moved his staff to Phoenix, which made St. Stephen's the pro-cathedral. In 2010 the Van Nuys eparchy was renamed for Phoenix, and the church became a full cathedral.
