11 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- A shell of petal-shaped cells
The outer shell is covered in petal-shaped cells. Print friendly adapts these fine outlines to the print scale; Full detail keeps them, which suits a larger print or a fine nozzle.
- Slim posts under the edge
Thin posts ring the lower edge of the shell. A bigger print size keeps more of them, and layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm help them stay crisp.
- One piece with the ground
Arena da Amazônia is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Arena da Amazônia takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Arena da Amazônia
Arena da Amazônia, also called the Amazon Arena, is a stadium for football in Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil. It occupies the spot where the Vivaldão stadium used to be, halfway between Manaus International Airport and the city's historic center. Construction ran from 2010 to 2014 for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, which Brazil hosted, and the stadium opened on March 9, 2014, with a cup game between Nacional FC and Clube do Remo. It staged four World Cup games and also matches in the football tournament of the 2016 Summer Olympics. Its all-seater capacity is 42,924, and it was limited to a maximum of 40,549 during the World Cup.
Gerkan, Marg and Partners, a firm of architects from Germany, designed the stadium, taking inspiration from the Amazon rainforest around Manaus. Its metallic exterior structure is meant to evoke straw baskets made in the region. The Brazilian engineering firm Andrade Gutierrez built it. The Amazonas State Government paid 25% of the construction cost, and the Brazilian Development Bank paid 75%.
Manaus has an extremely warm climate because it lies near the equator, so the stadium was designed to keep its interior cooler. Features include a reflective white exterior, generous shade above the seats, and many ventilation openings in the facade. The stadium also has on-site rain water recycling and sewage treatment, which reduce water usage, and it is designed to use natural ventilation to cut energy consumption. Over 95% of the material from the old stadium's demolition was recycled.
About this model
Arena da Amazônia is one of more than 4,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
