8 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- The arched roof truss
A white tubular truss arches over the front edge of the roof and lands on concrete pylons in the open corners. Print friendly keeps those thin diagonals at small sizes; Full detail suits a large print.
- Cantilevered roof and aisles
The roof is one cantilevered sheet whose front edge follows the arch, with rafters running back from it. Thin layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keep the fascia and the stair aisles clean.
- One piece with the ground
Brick Community Stadium is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Brick Community Stadium takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Brick Community Stadium
Brick Community Stadium is a stadium for several sports in Robin Park, Wigan, Greater Manchester, England. The rugby league club Wigan Warriors and the football club Wigan Athletic both play there. It is owned by Mike Danson, a local businessman who also owns both clubs, and it is all-seater, with 25,138 places in four single-tier stands.
Alfred McAlpine built it, and it opened in 1999 as the JJB Stadium, a name it took from its sponsor. UEFA rules on sponsorship meant that European matches there went by the name Wigan Athletic Stadium. It was the DW Stadium from 2009 to 2024 and became the Brick Community Stadium on May 13, 2024, as part of a partnership with a local charity. Wigan Athletic and Wigan Warriors had moved in from Springfield Park and Central Park respectively.
The design rests on cantilevered, prefabricated steel roofs and terrace structures. The four rectangular stands are of roughly the same height and the bowl is not fully enclosed, so the corners stay open, with steel girders suspended beneath the roof of the northern and southern stands. The record crowd, 25,133, came on May 11, 2008, for a Wigan Athletic match against Manchester United that closed the 2007–08 Premier League season.
