6 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Exposed roof trusses
Eight lattice frames stand clear above the roof sheeting, with a sloped nose at the pitch end. Full detail keeps the open web; print slowly and cool well so the thin members stay straight.
- Rear lattice legs
Each truss turns down the street face as an open lattice leg, standing clear of the cladding. Print friendly adapts these thin members to your print scale; a larger print keeps the web readable.
- One piece with the ground
Turf Moor is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Turf Moor takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Turf Moor
Burnley F.C. have played at Turf Moor, an association football stadium in the Lancashire town of Burnley, England, since 1883. Only one English professional ground has been in continuous use for longer. It sits on Harry Potts Way, named for the manager who led the club to the 1959–60 First Division title, and holds 21,944 people.
Burnley Cricket Club made the site their home in 1843, so sport has been played there at least since then. In 1883 the cricket club asked the football club to move to a pitch beside its field. The first grandstand came only in 1885, the same year terraces were added at each end. Every stand was rebuilt between the mid-1950s and the mid-1970s, and in the 1990s the Longside and Bee Hole End terraces gave way to all-seater stands, as the Taylor Report recommended.
Four stands ring the pitch: the Jimmy McIlroy Stand, the North Stand, the Cricket Field Stand and the Bob Lord Stand. In 1886 a member of the Royal Family came to a friendly against Bolton Wanderers, the first visit of its kind to any football ground; Prince Albert Victor was the guest. The record crowd, 54,775, came in 1924 for an FA Cup third-round tie against Huddersfield Town, and the first Football League match there took place in October 1888.
About this model
Turf Moor is one of more than 4,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
