8 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Light towers on the stand
Slim light-tower frames rise above the grandstand. Print friendly adapts thin frames like these to the print scale; Full detail keeps them, which suits a larger print or a fine nozzle.
- Rows of stepped seating
The curved stands are made of many narrow seating rows. A larger print size keeps the rows distinct, and layers of 0.12–0.16 mm keep the steps crisp.
- One piece with the ground
Cashman Field is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Cashman Field takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Cashman Field
Downtown Las Vegas, Nevada, is home to Cashman Field, which was originally a baseball park. The modern ballpark opened in 1983 for the Las Vegas Stars, a Triple-A club that had been the Spokane Indians before relocating. The Stars, later called the 51s, played there until 2018. The field measured 100 m (328 feet) down each foul line and 132 m (433 feet) to center field, and seating at opening topped out at 9,334. The stadium links to Cashman Center, which houses an exhibit hall and a theater and which the City of Las Vegas runs.
The complex honors James "Big Jim" Cashman along with his relatives, entrepreneurs in Las Vegas for several generations, and occupies the site of an earlier stadium with the same name. That first Cashman Field was built in 1947 and called Elks Stadium, and it hosted football and rodeos prior to its first baseball game on May 21, 1948. Las Vegas saw its first professional football game there in 1964, when the Oakland Raiders met the Houston Oilers. In 1993, an exhibition between the Chicago White Sox and the Chicago Cubs drew the modern ballpark's record crowd of 15,025.
Pete Alonso, a first baseman, ended the final professional baseball game there on September 3, 2018, with a walk-off home run that beat the Sacramento River Cats 4–3. The 51s, who later became the Aviators, shifted to Las Vegas Ballpark in Summerlin for 2019. Meanwhile Las Vegas Lights FC, a USL Championship team, started playing at Cashman Field in 2018, kicking off with an exhibition against the Montreal Impact on February 10, 2018, in front of 10,383 people. The Vegas Vipers of the XFL called the stadium home in 2023.
