Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. The roof crease and cable blocks

The roof is a thin slab with a lengthwise crease that falls toward the pitch, and blocks along its front edge mark the cables. Fine layers and a fine nozzle keep the crease and the blocks distinct.

  2. Rock behind the stand

The quarry rock rises in steps behind the galleries, higher toward one goal end. Use 0.12–0.16 mm layers so the gallery stairs and the rock steps stay separate.

  3. One piece with the ground

The Estádio Municipal de Braga is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. The Estádio Municipal de Braga takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About the Estádio Municipal de Braga

Braga's municipal ground is an all-seater stadium where Sporting Clube de Braga plays at home. Eduardo Souto de Moura, the Portuguese architect, designed it and won the Pritzker Architecture Prize partly for the work. The project moved forward in 2000 for the European championships of 2004; building work ran from 2002 to 2003, and the opening match, Sporting Braga against Celta Vigo, was played on December 30, 2003.

The ground is nicknamed A Pedreira, The Quarry, because its south end was cut into a hillside. Its stands sit on either side of the pitch, one goal backdrop being cut from the quarry's rock walls, while the other end looks out over the city. Each stand carries a canopy roof, and dozens of steel strings link the pair, a design taken from ancient Incan bridges in South America. A plaza of 5,000 square meters lies under the pitch.

It seats 30,286, ranking it seventh among Portugal's football grounds, and the municipality of Braga owns it. Rock excavation contributed heavily to a final cost of €200 million, against an estimate of 29.9 million euros for the first project, which made it the priciest of the ten new grounds built for Euro 2004.
