6 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Floodlights on the fascia
The lamp banks stand on the roof's front edge, above a deep fascia band. Full detail keeps the posts and heads; Print friendly simplifies them so they survive at small sizes.
- A long thin roof plate
The cantilever roof is a flat plate running the full stand, with a stepped fascia below its edge. Layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keep that edge and the raking steps crisp.
- One piece with the ground
Hillsborough Stadium is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Hillsborough Stadium takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Hillsborough Stadium
Hillsborough Stadium is a football ground in Owlerton, Sheffield, in South Yorkshire, England. Sheffield Wednesday has played there since it opened in 1899. The ground was heavily rebuilt over the years, with a new stand on every side and the South Stand remade for UEFA Euro 1996; two of the four stands have two tiers, two have a single tier, and all are covered, with the South Stand the largest and the West Stand, which usually holds away supporters, the smallest.
On April 15, 1989 the Hillsborough disaster unfolded there, at an FA Cup semi-final where Liverpool met Nottingham Forest; it remains the worst tragedy in the history of English sport. The Taylor Report that followed changed safety rules across the country, requiring clubs in England's top two divisions to make their grounds all-seater and removing the fencing around pitches.
Hillsborough hosted World Cup football in 1966 and European Championship football in 1996, and it has staged 27 FA Cup semi-finals. Its record crowd, 72,841, came on February 17, 1934 for an FA Cup fifth-round tie against Manchester City. The North Stand opened on August 23, 1961, with a cantilever roof that was only the second of its kind in England and the first to cover the whole length of the pitch.
About this model
Hillsborough Stadium is one of more than 4,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
