About St Paul's Cathedral
St Paul's Cathedral is the Anglican cathedral of London, where the bishop of London has his seat. It stands on Ludgate Hill, the City of London's highest ground, and is the Diocese of London's mother church within the Church of England. Its dedication to Paul the Apostle goes back to a cathedral church founded in AD 604.
Sir Christopher Wren designed the present high-domed building in the English Baroque style, and it was completed in 1710. Its reconstruction belonged to a major rebuilding program begun after the Great Fire of London, which had largely destroyed the earlier Gothic cathedral, known as Old St Paul's. At 111 m (365 ft) high, it was London's tallest building from 1710 to 1963, and its dome remains among the highest anywhere. Only Liverpool Cathedral covers more area among church buildings in the United Kingdom.
The cathedral is a Grade I listed building and a church in daily use, with prayer every hour and services every day. Funerals held there include those of Winston Churchill, Margaret Thatcher, the Duke of Wellington and Admiral Lord Nelson, and Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer held their wedding there. For more than 300 years its dome has stood out above the spires of Wren's churches in the City around it, dominating the skyline.
How it prints
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
| Print size | Landmark height | Scale |

- Dome, lantern and cross
- The ribbed dome carries a small lantern and cross, the finest detail in the model. Slow, cooled printing and 0.12 to 0.16 mm layers keep the curves smooth and the tip crisp.
- Column ring and twin towers
- A ring of columns circles the base of the dome, and the two west towers have small domed tops. Print friendly adapts thin columns to the print scale; Full detail keeps them on larger prints.
- One piece with the ground
- St Paul's Cathedral is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
- In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
- Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. St Paul's Cathedral takes the building color.
- File format
- You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

Common questions
Is there a St Paul's Cathedral STL I can download?
Mini Skyline builds the file for you in your browser and exports 3MF, which every major slicer opens. If you need an STL, open the 3MF in your slicer and export it from there.
How big can I print it?
Any print size from 40 mm across. St Paul's Cathedral grows with the print: about 30 mm tall on the default 160 mm print. For a model larger than your printer bed, Project Mode splits the area into tiles.
Is it free?
