Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Tripod masts and tie rods

Six white tripod masts stand over the roof, each with two thin rods running to the front edge. The rods are fragile at print scale: print larger, or keep Full detail, and use 0.12–0.16 mm layers.

  2. Thin cantilever roof edge

The roof is a plain sheet that thins to a fine fascia at the front, with a light strip along it. Print bigger so the eave line stays straight, or choose Full detail.

  3. One piece with the ground

Madejski Stadium is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Madejski Stadium takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About Madejski Stadium

Reading's football ground, the Madejski Stadium, sits in Berkshire, England, and is also called the Select Car Leasing Stadium under a sponsorship deal. Reading FC plays there, and the Reading Half Marathon finishes at it. The bowl is all-seated and holds 24,161 people, close to the M4 motorway and the Reading Green Park railway station, and the Voco Reading Hotel occupies part of the West Stand.

The Taylor Report of January 1990 required all-seater grounds in the top two divisions from the 1994–95 season, and Elm Park, Reading's old home, could not reasonably be converted. The club chose a closed landfill at Smallmead, south of the town, bought for £1 on condition that it built the A33 relief road, and Birse Group had started work there by 1997. Elm Park's last competitive match was on May 3, 1998. The new ground opened on August 22, 1998, with Reading beating Luton Town 3–0.

John Madejski, then chairman of Reading FC and the source of most of the funding, gave the ground its name. Building it cost more than £50m, and the pitch mixes synthetic fibers through natural grass. Rugby union has been played there since it opened and concerts have been staged, and in July 2021 a ten-year sponsorship rebranded it as the Select Car Leasing Stadium, with the East Stand becoming The Sir John Madejski Stand.

About this model

Madejski Stadium is one of more than 4,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
