9 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Keep the small roof features
The broad roof has small raised blocks and a thin rim around its rounded ends. Use Print friendly to adapt these parts at smaller sizes, or choose a larger print with Full detail to retain them.
- Define the curved ends
The rounded ends have shallow bands and small facade details. Layers of 0.12–0.16 mm help keep the bands distinct, while a larger print gives the small details more room.
- One piece with the ground
Mary Brown's Centre is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Mary Brown's Centre takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Mary Brown's Centre
Mary Brown's Centre is an arena for indoor sports and entertainment in downtown St. John's, Canada, in Newfoundland and Labrador. It opened in May 2001 as the replacement for Memorial Stadium and was previously called Mile One Centre. Danny Williams chose its original Mile One name in reference to St. John's position as Canada's easternmost city. The arena adopted its Mary Brown's Centre name on November 5, 2021, following the purchase of naming rights by the Newfoundland restaurant chain Mary Brown's.
Hockey has been part of the venue's history since its opening. The St. John's Maple Leafs, an American Hockey League team, played there from 2001 through 2005 before moving to Toronto as the Marlies. The arena hosted AHL All-Star games in 2002 and 2014, as well as the Canadian men's curling championship, the Tim Hortons Brier, in 2017. Music also features in its history: it hosted the Juno Awards in 2002 and 2010, and Live was its first musical act in 2001.
