22 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 700 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Pinwheel roof seams
The roof is a pinwheel of triangular panels divided by thin raised ribs. Print friendly adapts those thin lines to your print scale; Full detail keeps every rib, which suits a larger print.
- Open frame of slim posts
The sides are an open frame of slender posts and diagonal braces. Layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keep them crisp, and a larger print holds more of the lattice.
- One piece with the ground
Mercedes-Benz Stadium is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Mercedes-Benz Stadium takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Mercedes-Benz Stadium
Mercedes-Benz Stadium is a stadium with a retractable roof in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. It officially opened on August 26, 2017, as the replacement for the Georgia Dome. The Atlanta Falcons, an NFL team, and Atlanta United FC, a Major League Soccer club, play there. The state of Georgia owns it by way of the Georgia World Congress Center Authority; AMB Group, which is the parent organization of both teams, operates it. A 2016 estimate put the construction cost at US$1.6 billion.
The signature feature is the roof, a "pinwheel" made of eight translucent, triangular panels. Each panel runs on two parallel rails, one that moves it and one that steadies it. With the panels open, the roof is meant to look like a bird with its wings spread. Architect Bill Johnson said the round opening drew on the Roman Pantheon, and "Pantheon" was also the design's working name. The roof can stay open in light precipitation, because the video boards' electrical systems are outdoor-rated and the field is drained.
Under the roof runs the Halo, a ring-shaped video board around the rim that measures 18 by 335 m (58 by 1,100 ft). The stadium also holds more than 180 commissioned works of contemporary art. Its centerpiece is The Atlanta Falcon, a stainless steel sculpture by Gábor Miklós Szőke, who said it is the world's largest freestanding sculpture of a bird. The falcon stands 12 m (41 ft) tall, spans 21 m (70 ft) across its wings, and is placed in front of the stadium. For soccer, mechanized curtains limit capacity to about 42,500.
About this model
Mercedes-Benz Stadium is one of more than 4,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
