15 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- A broad, curved roof canopy
A thin curved roof overhangs the rim on most sides. Print friendly adapts thin parts to the print scale, and printing slowly with layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm helps the roof edge come out cleanly.
- One open end shows the bowl
One end of the oval has no roof, so the sunken field and the seating tiers are visible from that side. A bigger print size shows the stepped rows more clearly.
- One piece with the ground
Mosaic Stadium is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Mosaic Stadium takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Mosaic Stadium
In Regina, Saskatchewan, Mosaic Stadium is an open-air venue in the REAL District that replaced Taylor Field as the home of the Saskatchewan Roughriders, a Canadian Football League team. The design came from HKS, Inc. working with B+H, who were the architects of record. Early construction work started in 2014, and on August 31, 2016, officials called the stadium "substantially complete". Regina's city government owns it, and the Regina Exhibition Association Ltd. (REAL) operates it.
The first event was a soft opening on October 1, 2016: a university football game pitting the Regina Rams against the Saskatchewan Huskies. The Roughriders began playing there in the 2017 CFL season. The stadium staged the NHL Heritage Classic in 2019, and in 2022 it was the site of the 109th Grey Cup, played on November 20 between the Toronto Argonauts and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Guns N' Roses played there on August 27, 2017.
The seating bowl is sunken, and a roof covers only part of the rim, shielding spectators. The curved rim is meant to stop snow from piling up on the roof. The lower bowl is set 10 m (33 ft) down from ground level, and the upper deck wraps around the entire north end zone, a layout meant to protect spectators from winds that mostly come from the north and west. It also has thirty-eight corporate suites, two levels of luxury seating and an open concourse that circles the whole facility.
About this model
Mosaic Stadium is one of more than 4,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
