11 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 650 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Colonnade round the bowl
The roof ring rests on a run of free-standing columns with trapezoid fins between them, and the space behind reads as shadow. Print friendly widens those posts at small sizes; a bigger print in Full detail keeps the rhythm.
- Roof ring and fascia
A deep fascia band runs almost level around the whole bowl and drops at the curved ends, with the column tops meeting it underneath. Layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm help that band and its lower edge stay crisp.
- One piece with the ground
Nagai Stadium is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Nagai Stadium takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Nagai Stadium
Nagai Stadium sits in Osaka, Japan, and Cerezo Osaka of the J. League plays its home games there. For sponsorship reasons the ground also carries the name Yanmar Stadium Nagai, and the rugby union side NTT DoCoMo Red Hurricanes Osaka uses it for most of their home fixtures. Seating runs to 47,853 places.
The ground opened in 1964 with room for 23,000 spectators, and a football match in that year's Summer Olympics served as the opening event. Its capacity was raised in 1996 to 50,000, in time for the National Sports Festival of Japan a year later, and in 2002 it staged three matches of the FIFA World Cup.
Athletics has been a large part of its life: the stadium hosted the athletics events of the East Asian Games in 2001 and the World Championships in Athletics in 2007, and the annual Osaka Grand Prix meeting ran there each May from 1996 to 2010, returning in 2018. The Osaka International Ladies Marathon also starts and finishes at the stadium, and concerts have used the venue as well.
