18 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Curved canopies and trusses
Two large curved canopies cover the sideline stands, held up by thin triangular trusses. Full detail keeps the trusses, which suits a larger print or a fine nozzle; Print friendly adapts them to the print scale.
- Scoreboard frames at the ends
Two thin cross-braced frames stand at the open ends of the field. Printing slowly with layers of 0.12 to 0.16 mm keeps them crisp.
- One piece with the ground
Princess Auto Stadium is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Princess Auto Stadium takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Princess Auto Stadium
Princess Auto Stadium, formerly IG Field, stands in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, as an outdoor stadium. It opened in 2013 beside University Stadium, on the University of Manitoba campus. Its capacity is 32,343 and it is partially covered, with a corrugated metal roof, a restaurant, 52 suites, a walk of fame and other amenities. The naming rights were first awarded to Investors Group, and the stadium opened as Investors Group Field.
Tenants include the Canadian Football League's Winnipeg Blue Bombers, the Bisons (the university's football team), the junior CJFL's Winnipeg Rifles and the women's WWCFL's Manitoba Fearless. The Blue Bombers' first home game there came on June 27, 2013, a 38–33 loss to the Montreal Alouettes, and the 103rd Grey Cup followed in 2015. That June, Winnipeg was among six Canadian host cities for the FIFA Women's World Cup, and the stadium staged the opening four Group D matches and three matches from other groups. During the tournament it was called Winnipeg Stadium because of FIFA sponsorship rules.
Groundbreaking took place there on May 20, 2010, and the total cost came to $210 million. Its design can be expanded to 40,000 seats when it hosts the Grey Cup. The first soccer match at the stadium was played on May 8, 2014, when Canada's women's national team drew 1–1 with the United States.
