Ruhrstadion in 3D
The landmark on its own, at its size on a 160 mm print. Print friendly thickens thin parts for a 0.4 mm nozzle; Full detail keeps every part.

- 14 mm
- Scale
- 1:3,750
14 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Exposed roof carriers
The single-tier bowl is ringed by a repeating row of angled roof supports under a low roof. Full detail keeps the carrier rhythm; Print friendly simplifies these thin webs for small prints.
- Four tall floodlights
Four slim masts with rectangular lamp heads rise above the roof. Print larger or use Full detail so the lamp heads and mast tops remain sturdy, and print slowly with cooling.
- One piece with the ground
Ruhrstadion is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Ruhrstadion takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Ruhrstadion
Ruhrstadion stands in Bochum, Germany, and serves as the football home ground of VfL Bochum. Its capacity is 27,599 spectators. Sponsorship gave it the name rewirpowerSTADION between 2006 and 2016, and in 2016 a deal with the German housing association Vonovia, covering naming rights, turned it into Vonovia Ruhrstadion.
The story starts in 1911, when Spiel und Sport Bochum rented a farmer's meadow for its home ground. Its first match there was against VfB Hamm, watched by 500 people. Between March 1976 and July 1979 the ground was enlarged, and VfL Bochum met SG Wattenscheid 09 there on July 21, 1979, in the first match after the work.
At first the ground held more than 50,000, and many modifications later lowered that. David Bowie brought his Serious Moonlight Tour to the ground on June 15, 1983. Herbert Grönemeyer played several sold-out shows there between 1985 and 2019. In December 1992 it also staged a Champions League game between CSKA Moscow and Rangers, moved there because weather stopped the teams from playing in Moscow.
About this model
Ruhrstadion is one of more than 4,900 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
