The landmark on its own, at its size on a 160 mm print. Print friendly thickens thin parts for a 0.4 mm nozzle; Full detail keeps every part.

Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.

  1. Rounded roof edge

A broad rounded roof sits above a recessed glazed band, with a thin projecting edge around it. Print friendly protects that roof lip; Full detail keeps it on a larger print with a fine layer height.

  2. Glazed foyer grid

Tall glazed foyers wrap the base beneath a silver upper band, with fine mullions and strong horizontal transoms. Layers of 0.12–0.16 mm keep that framing crisp on a larger print.

  3. One piece with the ground

SAP Arena is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.

  4. Pick the detail for your nozzle

In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.

  5. Colors

Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. SAP Arena takes the building color.

  6. File format

You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.

About SAP Arena

SAP Arena is Mannheim's multi-purpose hall in Germany. Ice hockey and handball dominate its schedule, and it serves as home arena for the Adler Mannheim hockey team and the Rhein-Neckar Löwen handball side. It opened in 2005 with room for as many as 15,000 people, stages over a hundred concerts and convention events each year, and carries the name of its sponsor, SAP. A tram line links it with central Mannheim.

The arena is among Germany's largest and among Europe's most high-tech. Basketball came to it in late December 2022 when MLP Academics Heidelberg met FC Bayern Munich before their record crowd of 10,454 spectators, with a donation made for each ticket sold to the Courage Foundation, which supports chronically ill children. Wladimir Klitschko, the heavyweight boxer, won or defended a title there four times between 2006 and 2013.

About this model

SAP Arena is one of more than 4,900 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
