10 mm tall on a 160 mm print
Make this print opens the generator on a 600 m square around the landmark. Buildings print at close to true scale, so the landmark grows with the print size.
- Open steel storey
A storey of open columns and V braces runs between the outer wall and the roof, where a third tier would go. Those braces are thin, so use Full detail or a larger print.
- Roof edge that steps
The roof's leading edge is higher over the sidelines and lower over the ends, with the change in the corners. Print at 0.12–0.16 mm layers so that kink and the fascia stay crisp.
- One piece with the ground
Stadium MK is joined to the ground in the exported file, and the four-side check found no floating parts, so nothing needs gluing.
- Pick the detail for your nozzle
In the Buildings settings, set Landmark detail to Print friendly to adapt thin parts and small details to the print scale. Full detail keeps every modeled feature, for larger prints or a finer nozzle.
- Colors
Buildings, roads, water and ground arrive as separate filament slots in the 3MF. Stadium MK takes the building color.
- File format
You get a 3MF for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or PrusaSlicer. Any of them can save it as STL if you need one.
About Stadium MK
Stadium MK stands in the Denbigh area of Bletchley, part of Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire, England. Populous designed it and it opened in 2007; it is where Milton Keynes Dons of EFL League One and Milton Keynes Dons Women of the FA Women's National League South play. Several matches of the UEFA Women's Euro 2022 were held there.
Its two tiers hold a capacity of 30,500 people. A third tier could take the capacity on to 45,000 if it were needed, which is why the roof sits so high above the stands. The ground was built to UEFA's Elite Stadium specifications and has a Desso GrassMaster playing surface.
Rugby union turns up there from time to time: Saracens met Bristol in May 2008, and Northampton Saints used the ground in 2011 for Heineken Cup quarter-final and semi-final matches. It was one of the venues of the 2015 Rugby World Cup, with three matches. Concerts have been staged too, by acts such as Take That, Rammstein and Rod Stewart.
About this model
Stadium MK is one of more than 4,300 landmark models in Mini Skyline. They are made with AI, and each one is checked from four sides in its real surroundings before release. Everything around it is built from OpenStreetMap and Overture map data. If you would rather print the shape from map data, turn off Landmark models in the Buildings settings.
